Coste de Broca

A trip in the Coste de Broca, in the Pyrenées, where I originally intended to go sleep at a mountain refuge next to the Arlet Lake, on the Franco-Spanish border.

Although the weather for the day was no problem, I failed to properly check the previous days' snow bulletins, and was further misinformed by a local as to the amount of snow on the way and the time needed to get to my destination. As a result I did not reach the refuge and had to pitch the tent when the night and the cold caught up to me at 1850m. I was in fact lucky to find a spot for the tent when I did, and this taught me a valuable lesson.

Despite of this, it was an amazingly rewarding experience and I woke up in front of a magnificient scenery in the morning of the next day.

I managed to snap a few pictures in addition to taking the usual video footage.
